I usually respond to people instead of just putting them straight on my ignore list. Arguments are the only kind of socializing I get in GW.

I usually have my local and trade channels turned off, but if I happen to turn them on, I always play along.

I like how the original question simply asked "How do you react to what other players say", and EVERYONE to a man (or woman) has assumed "other players say negative/idiotic things only".

So..I'd go with "it depends on what they're saying".

If it is some dubma.... or someone being a jerk:

I just lure them on and on. I can actually see in my mind them pounding there keyboards and cussing my character

Its also funny to see that the more angry they get the worse their typing gets.

Great times!

If I'm being subjected to another players oh-not-so-niceness..I usually ignore them until their mommies make them log off, and go eat their din-din.

It usually depends on my mood. If I'm feeling grumpy, I usually retaliate with sarcasm, sometimes I'll just ignore them.

Most of the time, however, I spit absolutely random insanity back at them. It's really fun, because then they get all confused and quit.

I usally play along, until I can think of a super-amazing zinger to end the flame war, or else I just dont join in. It goes a bit far when 2 teams are screaming "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOBBBBBBB BBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBSSSSSSSSSSSSSS" at each other.

I generally like to play about with someone and make them feel really small no idea why i just enjoy it

but if somone /ignores me or goes offline their given a space on my friends list until one day im in a really bad mood, ill then open notepad write everything i want to say to them and then ctrl +c ctrl +v as fast as i possibly can

gets some fun reactions

E-vag. Cavernous vortexes of drama that suck players in.

Regarding the topic, usually I don't care what people say unless I know them.

I'm a bot. So I don't care what players say (all my chats are generally turned off so I can farm more effectively xD).
If I like the players, I'll just think of an answer that will make him happy
(RL ie :
-"him": does that makes me look fat ?
-"me" : no ^^).

And Avarre, thank you for answering that lol.

Depends really. If its one of those up-themselves wammo stereotype people yelling at me for not running mending, I'll have a bit of patience but the second thay start any hostility I'll give them shit until they realise I've owned them and they put me on ignore or threaten to report me (in which case I couldn't care less because I know they're just bluffing).

If they disagree with me and they can prove themselves, then that's fine with me.

Can't really give a much more detailed answer then that unless we have a specific situation.

/ignore

Most of the time my talk channels are off, unless I need something. But even when they're on I ignore the gross of what is said. I only say something if someone needs information/help.

^^what he said^^

Local is off 99% of the time...because immature discussions about sex, uneducated political debates, and random flames about someone's mother just don't interest me.

If someone tries to start something with me I simply blow them off...100% of the time they give up and move on to somebody else.
